Sales of LADA Granta Active Cross started in Russia
AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of Lada Granta in the new version Active Cross, Autonews reports with reference to the company press service.
The novelty is a liftback with a road clearance increased to 198 mm (compared to 180 mm for the classic Granta) and a plastic body kit. It is available in two versions for purchase.
So, the basic version Comfort is equipped with 8-valve 90-HP unit coupled with manual gear box. The equipment includes air conditioner, two airbags, heated front seats and mirrors, and an audio system. The cost of this version starts from 1,185,000 rubles.
The version equipped with 106-HP 16-valve engine, coupled with manual gear box is also available. This version is additionally equipped with a Lada EnjoY Pro multimedia system, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, cruise control with a speed limiter, fog lights, a delay function for turning off the headlights, a central lock with remote control and a folding key, electric windows of the front doors with Auto mode and heated windshield. It can be purchased at the price starting from 1,370,000 rubles.

The Volga brand plans to produce up to 110,000 cars per year, Autonews reports,the company's press service reports.
Earlier it was reported that such capacity was observed at the enterprise located in Nizhny Novgorod, where production of the brand's cars is being set up. It should also be noted that the plant refutes assumptions about cooperation with Geely in the production of Volga cars.
