Rating of regions by truck market capacity

Russian Automotive Market Research

According to RAMR, over eleven months of 2019 weighted average prices for new trucks increased by 7.7% on the same period of 2018 and amounted to 6 168 829 rubles.The new truck market capacity grew by 4.3% and reached 431 035 million rubles.

The leader by financial results among regional markets became the Moscow region. Over eleven months of 2019 new trucks on 42 241 million rubles were sold in the region. Capacity of the markets of Moscow and Tatarstan Republic, which are also included in TOP-3 by this indicator, amounted to 37 208 million rubles and 24 765 million rubles, respectively.

In January-November 2019 the largest financial capacity among TOP-10 regional used truck markets was shown by the Moscow region – 38 351 million rubles.

The market capacity dynamics in the Sverdlovsk region was negative caused by the decrease in used truck sales in this region by 16.1%.
