AVTOVAZ is cutting production and switching to a four-day workweek due to falling sales, Novosvyat reports.

Thus, since the end of September, only two shifts have been maintained on the LADA Granta and Iskra production lines, while Vesta and Niva assembly is being carried out on one shift. It is known that LADA Vesta sales have fallen by almost half in recent months, while LADA Niva is losing its positions in TOP-10 most popular models.

Recall that earlier the company previously planned to produce 500 thousand cars this year, but is now planning for 300 thousand units. The company's market share, which had previously increased to 40%, declined to 22%.
