Production of a new model has started at Nizhny Novgorod Trucks. Valdai 18 multi-purpose cab-over-engine truck is designed for short and medium-haul transportation, public utilities, and solving various economic and business tasks in an urban environment.

With a gross weight of 18 tons, Valdai 18 has a high load capacity for its class – up to 12.2 tons.  The variability of wheelbases (from 4,800 to 6,100 mm) and the ability to take off power from the gear box made it possible to install a wide range of superstructures to solve various business problems.

The power plant consists of the fuel efficient Euro-5 diesel engine coupled with 8-speed manual gear box. The engine displacement is 6.7 liters, capacity is 261 HP, and torque is 956 Nm. The basic version of Valdai 18 is equipped with a rear air suspension.
