Production of a new model of Valdai 45 PRO long-haul tractor unit has begun at the production facilities of the Nizhny Novgorod Trucks plant. The novelty is the result of a deep technical reworking of the first vehicle version and a systematic response to requests from Russian carriers.

Valdai 45 PRO has received a number of significant updates aimed at improving efficiency and safety. The engine capacity has been increased to 490 HP, which ensures reliable operation of the tractor unit as part of a road train under full load and on difficult road sections. The gear ratio of the main drive axle has been reduced to 2.714. The volume of fuel tanks has increased to 1,040 liters, which makes it possible to serve long trips with a minimum number of refueling stops.

Valdai 45 PRO is designed for intensive operation in the long-haul traffic segment.
