Production of LADA Niva Legend with a new engine will start in May-June 2026
At the recent AvtoVAZ trade union conference, the timing of the launch of the assembly line of the classic Niva Legend SUV with a new engine was clarified. According to Za Rulem, the start of production is scheduled for May-June of the coming year.
The model is equipped with a new powertrain, which is the same engine that has recently been integrated into Niva Travel SUVs: 1.8-liter engine with VAZ-11184 index is a combination of VAZ-11193 block and 8-valve head of VAZ-11182 block.
In addition to the power plant, the novelty has received a number of chassis updates.
