Production of Haval engines can be set up in 2024 at the Tula plant

Engine production at the plant of the Chinese Haval (part of the Great Wall Motor concern) in the industrial park "Uzlovaya" in the Tula region may start at the beginning of 2024, according to the executive director of Haval Motor Rus Andrey Akifyev.

The company's investment in local production in Russia will amount to 42.4 billion rubles. It implies local production of key automotive components - the engine, gear box, electronic components and vehicle control systems.
