Production of a new 7-seat SUV will be launched at UAZ
Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant is preparing to expand its range of models with a 7-seat frame SUV under the Sollers brand. According to Izvestia, with reference to Alexey Spirin, the company's general director, production is scheduled to start in early 2026.
The SUV is expected to be a modified version of the 7-seat Chinese JAC T9 SUV, presented in South Africa in spring of 2024.
According to Mr. Spirin, the novelty will be available in versions with petrol and diesel engines capacity of 200 HP. The equipment should include electrically driven trunk doors, as well as a set of electronic driver assistants.
