Nissan Qashqai will return to Russia under the parallel import scheme

The Russian representative office of the Chinese Sinomach Automobile, which supplies cars under the Oting brand to Russia, will deal with parallel import. In particular, the company plans to bring a second-generation Nissan Qashqai crossover to Russia under this scheme, according to Avtonovosti Dnya.

Currently, the model is available in the Chinese market in two generations, both produced at the Nissan-Dongfeng joint venture. The older version, known as Qashqai Classic, will soon be updated – mainly changes will concern the car design. The powertrain will remain unchanged – 2.0-liter unit capacity of 140 HP paired with CVT.

Recall that earlier, it was reported about the Oting intentions to return Nissan Patrol frame SUV to the Russian market along with Nissan Qashqai.
