The Minsk Automobile Plant, together with MAZ RUS and Avtotekhcom, took part in the International Transport Festival "TransportFest" in Saint Petersburg. Two new passenger vehicles were presented here — MAZ 303 low-floor gas-powered bus (CNG) and MAZ 303E large low-floor electric bus, designed specifically for the needs of Saint Petersburg. In addition, the company also presented a rear-loading MAZ-6903C5 garbage truck.
The compressed natural gas MAZ 303 is a continuation of the expansion of the range of third-generation passenger vehicles. It is equipped with 960-liter third-generation cylinders, which provide a range of up to 400 kilometers in urban operation. It is expected to be delivered to the Russian regions.
MAZ 303E is currently undergoing supervised operation in Saint Petersburg. The electric bus has already been tested, including on the route with passengers.
