The machine-tool fleet of NEFAZ, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan, has been replenished with equipment for processing small-diameter pipes. The new machines were purchased as part of the "Development of passenger bus production facilities at NEFAZ PTC up to 3 thousand units per year" project and own components production localization.

The new products include an automatic CNC pipe bending machine for right–left pipe bending from the largest foreign manufacturer of semi-automatic and automatic equipment. It is installed in machine assembly shop No. 6. This pipe bender produces products with complex geometries, including tubes with soldered tips: tubes for power steering, fuel system, cooling system for passenger vehicles. Previously, these products were purchased, but thanks to the new equipment, their production was mastered at the facilities of the Neftekamsk Automobile Plant. Moreover, the new machine made it possible to free up outdated pipe bending equipment in blank press shop No. 31.
