The CKD assembly of the first body for the new M70 crossover with welding and painting has begun at the Moskvich Moscow plant, the company's press service reports.

The first body is assembled as part of the company's preparation for the launch of a pre-production batch of cars. At this stage, specialists check all process operations directly on the production line, as well as compare the actual process with the documentation and, if necessary, make amendments to it.

The next stage will be release of the M70 batch, which will be sent for certification, control and testing procedures.
