The Moskvich Automobile Plant will publicly present the new Moskvich 8 crossover for the first time on August 1 during the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030", according to the press service of the enterprise.

Dimensions of Moskvich 8 will be 4,825 x 1,870 x 1,758 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,830 mm. The model will be equipped with 174-HP GDI petrol engine coupled with 7-speed robotized gear box. The model interior will include a digital dashboard with a 12.3 diagonal display, wireless charging for the phone, an all-round camera system, as well as the ability to connect to smartphones using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols.

Mass production of the model will start at the end of the current year at the capital plant, which switched to full-cycle assembly in May 2024.
