Mercedes-Benz C-Class sets new standards for its line-up

Russian Automotive Market Research

Daimler presents the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

It becomes the first fully electrified model in its range due to hybrids with 48-volt technology and integrated starter-generator, as well as plug-in hybrids. The highly efficient battery system allows it to achieve the electric power reserve of approximately 100 km (according to WLTP) in the plug-in hybrid version.

Thanks to consistent electrification and the reduced weight and size parameters, the new C-Class sets new standards in terms of efficiency. The engine range consists exclusively of four-cylinder units, representing the current family of modular Mercedes-Benz FAME engines.

For the first time both diesel and petrol engines, along with turbocharging feature intelligent support in the lower rev range from the integrated starter-generator (ISG), representing the second-generation hybrids.
