Founding documents were signed in Ufa on the establishment of an assembly plant of the joint venture “Territory for the Development of Electric Transport “MAZ-Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant” in the special economic zone "Alga". Abbreviated brand name is "TRET "MAZ-UTTZ" LLC.

Investments into the project will amount to 1.6 billion rubles. It is planned that the assembly and localization of the release of some components will be carried out at the new site.
