MAZ vehicles will be presented at the International Gas Forum in Saint Petersburg

On October 7-10, the Minsk Automobile Plant will participate in the Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum, where it will present an updated line-up of trucks, passenger and utility vehicles running on natural gas, developed to meet modern requirements for environmental friendliness, efficiency, and safety for passengers and drivers.

MAZ will present long-haul gas-powered tractor units designed for transporting various cargoes, including hazardous materials (ADR):

MAZ-54402N – a CNG tractor unit equipped with 16-speed manual gear box and a tank with increased capacity (1,292 liters), providing a range of up to 600 km.

Furthermore, MAZ's truck improvement is also based on the development and use of robotized gear boxes. The following vehicles will be presented:

MAZ-64A02N – a compressed natural gas (CNG) tractor unit with a range of up to 450 km. It is equipped with 12-speed robotized manual gear box with a retarder, a restyled cab with two berths, and expanded driver functionality.

The MAZ-54A02N is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) model designed for transporting hazardous materials equipped with 12-speed robotized gear box. It offers a range of up to 1,140 km due to 930-liter cryogenic tanks. It features high safety and comfort.

All models are equipped with electronic stability control, ABS, ASR, and modern comfort features such as a multi-function steering wheel, air conditioner, independent heater, cruise control, and LED headlights.
