MAZ is considering the possibility of cooperation with the Voronezh region

Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik proposed a unique industrial cooperation project to the governor of Voronezh. The parties discussed the solution of the tasks set at the meeting of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko with the Voronezh governor in June, including the achievement of $ 1 billion in mutual trade turnover.

So, it was proposed to create something unique and interesting in the region in industrial cooperation together (50% to 50%). For example, to localize the production of fire trucks by the Belarusian "Pozhsnab" with the prospect of developing other superstructures on the MAZ chassis.

The parties also agreed to activate the joint working group on the development of cooperation, which is headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Sivak. A meeting is expected to be held in Voronezh and a business mission from Belarus is expected to respond.
