KSV-Cargo successfully tested KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit

KAMAZ Commercial and Financial Company JSC together with KSV-Cargo LLC conducted tests of KAMAZ-54901 vehicle.

KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is the flagship of the company's new model range. The vehicle is equipped with KAMAZ six-cylinder inline engine capacity of 482 HP and the latest 12-speed robotized gear box. The vehicle's features include a spacious cabin with a flat floor, a multi-steering wheel with cruise control, and a modern on-board information system with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display. The use of modern high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles.

During the test operation, KAMAZ-54901 covered about 15 thousand km. According to the drivers, the tractor unit demonstrated excellent dynamics and smooth running. Fuel efficiency, cabin comfort, ergonomics and a modern control system were also highly appreciated.
