KAMAZ presents its vehicles at the «Gas. Oil. New Technologies for the Far North» exhibition, which takes place in Novy Urengoy. KAMAZ shows vehicles relevant to the industry at its stand.
The visitors' interest was aroused by the presented steam field installation on the KAMAZ-43118 chassis. Its functions include the removal of paraffin deposits from oil wells in the cold season, use as a temporary boiler room in work settlements, warming up the soil in the cold season if excavation is required, as well as warming up components and mechanisms of vehicles. To perform the entire range of work, there are two modes: powerful mode with a steam pressure of up to 100 atmospheres and a temperature of up to 310 ˚С and a thawing mode with a steam pressure of up to 8 atmospheres and a temperature of up to 174 ˚С. The KAMAZ-43118 (6x6) all-wheel drive chassis, on which the installation is based, is equipped with a restyled cab, KAMAZ 667.511-300 engine, and nine-speed manual gear box.
In addition, the company's exposition shows the dropside vehicle with CMU-150 "Galichanin" on the KAMAZ-43118 (6x6) chassis and KAMAZ-6522 dumper (6x6).
The dropside vehicle with CMU-150 "Galichanin" on the KAMAZ-43118 (6x6) chassis is designed to perform a wide range of loading and unloading, construction, installation and transport operations with various cargo. The load capacity is designed to perform work under heavy loads. The all-wheel drive chassis allows the vehicle to travel to other regions on difficult roads. The vehicle is equipped with KAMAZ Euro-5 engine capacity of 300 HP. CMU load capacity: maximum – 7,000 kg, at maximum reach – 200 kg. The technically permissible weight of the cargo transported is 6,490 kg. The internal dimensions of the platform are 6,112 x 2,470 x 730 mm, without frame and awning. The control post is located on the column. Remote control is carried out via the console with is a possibility of cable connection. The lifting height of the certified work platform is up to 24 m. Special purpose vehicle is also equipped with a safety device with registration of operation parameters, an emergency mini-station for lowering the boom, a portable radio set, a searchlight on the boom, and an anemometer.
The all-wheel drive KAMAZ-6522 dumper (6x6) is often used to perform work in difficult road conditions. The load capacity of the vehicle is 19 tons. The design features of the model are typical for many representatives of the new generation KAMAZ trucks. Vehicles of the "heavy" family feature increased consumer properties: extended life, increased load capacity, engine capacity, as well as reduced specific fuel consumption.
