KAMAZ presented passenger buses at the "My Petersburg" exhibition

At the St. Petersburg Transport Day, held within the framework of the My Petersburg exhibition, an innovative passenger transport was presented – extra-large KAMAZ city bus. This is KAMAZ-6299 articulated bus model running on the compressed natural gas.

The total passenger capacity of such bus is 155 people, it has 43 seats. The bus is equipped with 320-HP gas engine and automatic gear box.

The model is also equipped with a kniling system and is able to tilt toward the stopping platform, which makes it easier for passengers to board. The independent front suspension ensures smooth running. An air conditioning system is installed for the comfort of passengers. The driver's workplace is equipped with a combination of devices with a liquid crystal display, which displays all the necessary information: current speed, total distance traveled, average fuel consumption, etc.
