KAMAZ presented K5 generation novelties at the exhibition in Kazan

KAMAZ presented the latest K5 generation vehicles at the specialized exhibition of motor transport and automotive components, organized in Kazan as part of the meeting of the Coordinating Council for Industry of the Russian Federation and the final board of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The company's exposition shows the latest K5 generation KAMAZ-6595 and KAMAZ-65951 dumpers, which are popular among consumers. The vehicles are designed to carry bulk construction, industrial, and household goods. The updated cabin with a 4-point spring suspension provides increased comfort for the driver. A multimedia system with a 10-inch touchscreen display is installed, and there is a multi-steering wheel. A special feature of K5 generation KAMAZ dumpers is the reinforced frame and drive axles designed for an axial load of 16 tons. The vehicles are equipped with a dump body with a volume of 20 and 25 m3. The platform has a heated bottom and side walls with exhaust gases. The load capacity of dumpers is 25 and 32 tons.

The company also presented a novelty of 2024 – KAMAZ-54902 tractor unit, which is a more affordable analogue of the popular KAMAZ-54901 and is designed for regional transportation over relatively short distances. KAMAZ-54902 also belongs to the latest K5 generation and is equipped with a comfortable 2.3 m wide cabin with a low roof and one berth. The vehicle is built on a new sanctions-resistant component base. It has a KAMAZ-689 power train capacity of 390 HP and 12-speed robotic gear box.
