KAMAZ PTC is taking part in the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition, which takes place in Yekaterinburg on July 8-11, 2024.
The company presented its new generation K5 flagship KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit. The vehicle is equipped with a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 (Euro-5) engine displacement of 13 liters, capacity of 482 HP and a torque of 2,403 Nm. The use of modern high-tech design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. The tractor unit is equipped with a new low noise and highly efficient 12-speed automatic gear box, which reduced fuel consumption.
Apart from it, KAMAZ also presented two models of a medium-duty vehicle family - Compass 6 and Compass 9. The telescopic–type hydraulic lift mounted on Compass 6 chassis is used when performing work at an altitude - for example, when replacing street lighting, installing advertising banners, performing facade construction work, etc. It also serves to lift people with tools to an altitude. The boom is made of high-strength structural steel providing the necessary strength, structural rigidity and light weight. Technical capabilities of the lifting mechanism mounted on Compass 6 chassis make it possible to lift the basket to a height of up to 18 m.
As for the insulated van on Compass 9 chassis, it is designed for transporting food and other goods that require maintaining and keeping to certain temperature conditions. Compass 9 insulated van enables to maintain constant temperature in the cargo compartment due to sealed-in sandwich panels. The vehicle is equipped with a refrigeration and heating unit for transporting frozen foods. The van can admit 10 Euro pallets; rear doors can open at 270° to ease loading and unloading procedures.
