KAMAZ has identified priority production areas under the Development Strategy

The creation of modern highly efficient production capable of manufacturing up to 80 thousand vehicles per year, and the achievement of high quality and consumer properties of the product will become priority areas of KAMAZ's development, according to the company's Strategy 2030.

At the moment, KAMAZ is completing the next stage of development with a number of key factors. The first stage of the Reengineering project has been implemented – this is the development of the basic components of K5 vehicles, many K5 projects have also been completed, projects for the production of drive axles, expansion of capacities for R6 engine, and the second stage of cabin assembly are being implemented. Another important factor is the integration of joint ventures into the production process of KAMAZ PTC caused by the departure of foreign partners.

The production reengineering will create a modern complex. It will include robotic cells with CNC lathes and turning and milling machines and multi-axis robots; HFC hardening scanning type robots with a tempering operation and automated straightening installation. There will be a control cell post in the SPC format, as well as a logistics area with storage of tooling, instruments, blanks and parts.

Product quality will be achieved by ensuring traceability at all stages of production and the use of identification systems, measuring the dimensions of the part in the machine, recognizing cracks and minimizing their number after straightening and HFC hardening, automatic sorting of suitable and unusable parts. Automation of the line will create modern and ergonomic workplaces.
