Modern Transport Technologies has delivered a specialized fire tanker based on the Sadko Next chassis to the specialists of the Voronezh Forest Fire Center as part of the "Forest Conservation" regional project. The modification of the base chassis was carried out by JSC Velikoluksky Plant LESKHOZMASH.
The new vehicle will be deployed for rapid forest fire suppression in the Voronezh region. The special purpose vehicle is fully optimized for operation in dense forest terrain and features reinforced protection for key components, including the engine oil pan, fuel tank, fire pump, taillights, crew cab, and firefighting superstructure.
The tank holds up to 1,600 liters of water, while the 4x4 all-wheel-drive system and high road clearance ensure dependable off-road performance. A spacious cab designed for a 7-person crew allows a complete firefighting team to be deployed to the fire scene. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a rapid refill system for backpack fire extinguishers, which is essential for ground crews operating in the forest.
