KAMAZ and partners have created a multipurpose KAMAZ-VANKOR 6522-RT road maintenance vehicle

KAMAZ and the company's authorized partners, JSC RIAT and Mercator, have created a multipurpose road maintenance vehicle for clearing roads in extreme winter conditions.

The vehicle is designed to maintain the road network in the snow-covered regions of Russia, and also, if necessary, can be used both as a conventional dumper for transporting bulk and inert goods without attachments, and as a multipurpose road maintenance vehicle familiar to all road services.

The special purpose vehicle is equipped with a milling-rotary snowplow driven by a chassis powerplant, which can load 40 KAMAZ dumpers per hour and clean a 2.6 m wide strip. The main feature of the model is the possibility of its operation as a powerful milling and rotary snowplow with a capacity of up to 2.5 thousand m3 of snow mass per hour. The wheel arrangement of the vehicle is 6x6 with a hydrostatic transmission, which allows operating at speeds from 0 to 8 km/h to ensure optimal operating modes of milling and rotary equipment.
