KAMAZ-6282 ONC electric bus was transferred to Saint Petersburg for test operation

On March 1, 2024, a presentation of KAMAZ-6282 ONC electric bus with night charging, transferred to the St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise "Passagiravtotrans" for test operation, took place in Saint Petersburg.

KAMAZ-6282 ONC electric bus with night charging has retained all the features of the "classic" KAMAZ-6282 model, but it is charged at night, after hours, at cheap electricity tariffs. This type of electric buses has an increased capacity of traction batteries, which implies a large amount of mileage on a single charge. The range of KAMAZ-6282 ONC electric bus is up to 330 km. Energy is stored in lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) rechargeable batteries with an energy capacity of 499 kWh. The electric synchronous motor has permanent magnets as part of an electric axle with a power of 2x180 kW. Passenger capacity is up to 85 people, seating capacity is 35 people.
