KAMAZ-54901 Hi-Tech has been shipped to Sochi transport company

The flagship K5 generation KAMAZ-54901 Hi-Tech tractor unit has been shipped to a transport company located in Sochi.

The vehicle was supplied by the authorized dealer of the company – Krasnodar automobile center KAMAZ. The vehicle transferred will be involved in transportation of goods across the Krasnodar region, mainly in the Sochi district. The vehicle adopts global trends in the automotive industry, but at the same time adapted to Russian operating conditions.

KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractor unit in the version Hi-Tech is equipped with 560-HP KAMAZ six-cylinder inline engine, while the base version 54901 has 482-HP unit. HSA hill start assist as well as Hi-Tech retarder (hydraulic retarder) installed on KAMAZ-54901, which allows braking on long descents, are no less relevant for working in such conditions.

The use of design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles.
