KAMAZ-54901 has passed tests at the Moscow transport company
KAMAZ Commercial and Financial Company JSC and RusTrans LLC conducted tests of KAMAZ-54901 vehicle in real conditions.
The flagship KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit has been working in the RusTrans LLC fleet for two months. During the test period, the high-tech vehicle traveled more than 25 thousand km and transported several tons of pallet cargo along the main route "Saint Petersburg – Blagoveshchensk – Saint Petersburg".
KAMAZ-54901 (4x2) tractor unit is the flagship model equipped with a new fuel efficient KAMAZ 6–cylinder inline engine capacity of 482 HP and displacement of 13 liters. The use of design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles.
