On June 25, 2026, a test drive of the latest K5 generation KAMAZ trucks took place on the territory of the Oek airfield (the Irkutsk region).
As part of the promotional event, participants were able to personally test three high-tech K5 generation vehicles on the airfield. A heavy-duty 4-axle KAMAZ-65951 (8x4) dumper was provided for a test drive, designed to work on large construction sites, in quarries and for transporting large volumes of bulk cargo.
KAMAZ-65952 (6×6) all-wheel drive heavy-duty dumper was also available, designed to operate in extreme road and climatic conditions (quarries, unpaved construction sites, and haul roads).
Moreover, it was possible to test another representative of K5 all–wheel drive family - the latest KAMAZ-65954 (6x6) tractor unit. The vehicle is designed for transporting heavy loads and working with special trailers (trawls, short loggers) in extreme road and off-road conditions. The model focuses on the construction, mining, and logging industries.
