It is planned to produce 100 thousand Volga cars per year in Nizhny Novgorod
Nizhny Novgorod plans to produce about 100 thousand Volga cars per year. Production is planned to be set up in the Nizhny Novgorod automobile cluster together with a technological partner, Autonews reports, citing an interview with the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
It is known that the first three Volga models – a sedan and two crossovers (C40, K40 and K30, respectively) – were presented on May 21, 2024 at the CIPR-2024 exhibition. All three models are based on the Chinese Changan, received additional equipment and were restyled.
