Iran Khodro may localize production of Tara sedan in Stavropol
The Iranian automobile company Iran Khodro plans to start assembling Tara sedan in Russia. Presumably, the matter concerns Stavropol Auto enterprise, which previously produced Great Wall Hover cars.
For the first time, the model was presented at the CarX-2024 forum, and then it will be send to NAMI for testing. It is known that it is planned to launch official sales of the car, for which it is currently receiving the Vehicle Type Approval for the Russian market. Earlier it was reported about the brand's plans to certify the novelty in December 2024, however, this may cause difficulties.
