Hongqi plans to bring several models to the Russian market

The Chinese Hongqi automaker intends to present several novelties in the Russian market by the end of 2024, Za Rulem reports with reference to Ivan Savelyev, the Executive Director of Hongqi Rus. The list of novelties announced includes HS3 crossover and L1 sedan.

The first Russian premiere will be Hongqi HS3 crossover, which will be launched on June 27 this year. Mr. Saveliev explained that in the near future, all-wheel drive versions H5 and H9 may also debut, and in 2025, Hongqi L1 may enter the Russian market.

In terms of dimensions in the basic version, the length of L1 corresponds to that of Mercedes-Benz S-class Long, previously sold in the Russian Federation. This is a large sedan, which will have an extended version, Mr. Saveliev said. The appearance in Russia of 7-seat HS7 SUV, adapted to the Russian market, was also announced.
