Tests of Gorozhanin articulated trolleybus based on the MAZ 216 body in real urban conditions have shown its high efficiency. This was reported by the Chuvash Transport Administration, which conducted a test run-in of the vehicle.

Tests of the model in real urban conditions have shown its high efficiency, especially for the removal of morning and evening passenger flows due to a more spacious cabin. Moreover, following results of the tests, it was proved that passenger transportation by the articulated trolleybus increased almost 1.5-fold compared to classic ones.
