KAMAZ together with its authorized partner UralSpecTrans LLC presented a new model of oil tanker called ATSN-17T "Thermos" on the KAMAZ-65959 K5 generation chassis. Special purpose vehicle is manufactured by UralSpecTrans plant under the SEVEREST brand and is designed for transportation and short-term storage of oil and oil-containing liquids with a density of no more than 0.92 g/cm3.

The special purpose vehicle is based on the modern KAMAZ‑65959 K5 generation all-wheel drive chassis and features 6×6 wheel arrangement and single-tire wheels with an automated tire pressure control system. The power plant is represented by KAMAZ R6 inline 6‑cylinder engine: its capacity reaches 483 HP, and the torque is 2,403 Nm, due to which the vehicle works stably even at maximum load. 16‑speed manual gear box is used as the transmission. This configuration ensures high maneuverability of the vehicle and allows it to operate special equipment in difficult road conditions, including at oil and gas facilities. The K5 cabin provides convenient operation: it is mounted on a 4‑point spring suspension, equipped with a modern on-board information system, and the well-thought-out ergonomics of the workplace makes the operation more convenient for the driver.
