GAC announced the launch of three models to the Russian market in March 2025

GAC brand will present three new cars on the Russian market in March — Empow sedan, GS4 Max crossover, and the updated GS8, the brand's press service reports. All novelties have already been certified for the Russian Federation.

Empow is a C-class sedan that is similar in size to Volkswagen Jetta or Hyundai Elantra that left Russia. Technical specifications of the Russian version of this model have not yet been disclosed.

GS4 Max is a compact crossover similar in size to Toyota RAV4 and Haval F7. Information about the technical equipment of the Russian version has not yet been provided either. It is known that in China this model is equipped with 1.5-liter 177-HP turbocharged unit coupled with 7-speed robotized gear box.

No details about the updated GS8 version are yet known. Currently, the pre-styling second generation is available on the Russian market.
