Full-cycle production of two new crossovers of the Russian Jeland brand will begin at the AGR plant in Shushary (Saint Petersburg) in the near future. According to the official representatives of the holding, these will be J7 and J8 models, which will join J6 crossover, which has already entered the former General Motors (GM) assembly line.
The assembly rate at the enterprise currently stands at 300 cars per day. The plant's capacity is 100 thousand cars per year. Currently, the plant operates in two shifts, and it is planned to introduce a third shift to increase production rates.
It is also reported that two more C-series models will be added to the brand's line-up later. These will be facelifted versions of Omoda C5 and C7 crossovers.
