The Chinese Hongqi held a presentation of the current model line-up and shared its development plans in the Russian market. Officially, the flagship division of the FAW concern in Russia debuted only this spring after almost a year of preparation, during which a dealer network was formed, while Hongqi cars were certified. At the start of sales, the line-up included four models — H5 and H9 sedans, as well as HS5 and E-HS9 crossovers. Now it became known about the upcoming replenishment of the brand's line-up.

In the near future, the current line-up in Russia will be supplemented by an elongated version of the flagship Hongqi H9 sedan. The Chinese version of such a car is equipped with powerful V6 engines instead of 2.0-liter turbocharged units and an air suspension.

The niche between the mid-sized Hongqi HS5 and the flagship Hongqi E-HS9 electric crossover will soon be occupied by a large three-row HS7. In China, it is available with 2.0-liter turbocharged engine or a hybrid power plant.

Moreover, Hongqi HS3 junior SUV will debut in the Russian market. It is also equipped with 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a hybrid superstructure.

Later, the Russian debut of the updated Hongqi HS5 crossover with a length of 4,785 mm (the first public presentation of the model took place in April at the Shanghai Motor Show), as well as the premiere of Hongqi HQ9 minivan with 2.0-liter petrol unit and front-wheel drive are expected.
