The Expo Line company, working in the field of cargo transportation, has tested the latest K5 generation KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit in real conditions.
The vehicle was handed over to the cargo carrier KAMAZ Commercial and Financial Company for a period of one month. During the tests, KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit drove a total of 5,500 km. The vehicle was operated in conjunction with a tank semi-trailer and was used to transport food cargo. The weight of the semi-trailer was 27.5 tons.
KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is the flagship of the company's new model range. The K5 generation vehicle is equipped with a new KAMAZ six-cylinder inline engine capacity of 482 HP and 12-speed robotized gear box. The vehicle's features include a spacious cabin with a flat floor, a multi-steering wheel with cruise control, and a modern on-board information system with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display.
