In July 2024, serial assembly of Exeed cars (owned by the Chery concern) will begin at the facilities of Avtodom, the former Mercedes plant, in Esipovo near Moscow, Kommersant reports. It is known that the Russian version of Exeed VX premiere model has already received the Vehicle Type Approval. The start of the novelty sales is scheduled for August of the current year.

It is also reported that in February 2025, it is planned to launch production of the second Exeed model at the same enterprise.
