Details about the Russian version of the new GAC Empow have become known
The Chinese GAC has introduced Empow D-class sedan for Russia. As Autonews reports with reference to the brand's press service, the model will be presented on the Russian market in two versions - the classic GS and the sports GL, differing mainly in exterior.
Thus, the sports version GL features an aerodynamic package, a front bumper with large air intakes, a spoiler, door sills, double exhaust pipes and 18-inch wheel disks. The list of options includes dual-zone climate control and the Yamaha music system with eight speakers.
Both versions of the model are equipped with 170-horsepower units coupled with 7-speed robotized gear boxes. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes the sedan 6.95 seconds.
The novelty premiere is scheduled for March 17, 2025. Prices for both versions are expected to be announced on the same day.

The Russian Jeland brand has introduced a new all-wheel drive version of J6 crossover. The model, which received the AWD prefix in its name, will be assembled up at the former General Motors plant in Shushary, the brand's press service reports.
The power plant of the updated version is represented by 1.6-liter 150-HP unit with 275 Nm of torque, coupled with 7-speed robotized dual-clutch gear box and all-wheel drive.
