Details about the new Russian Atom electric car have become known

The developer of the Atom electric car project has declassified the car interior. As Autonews reports with reference to the project authors, the interior design concept is based on technology and minimalism. The main feature is the swing doors, the absence of B-pillar and a flat floor.

The length of the functional prototype is 3,995 mm, the width without mirrors - 1,780 mm, and the height - 1,615 mm. The road clearance is 170 mm. The modest size and layout features of the units made it possible to achieve a turning radius of 4.9 m. The front suspension of the car is made according to the McPherson scheme; a multi-link system is installed at the back. The angles of approach and departure are 21 and 25°, respectively.

The model is driven by an electric motor with a power of 150 kW (205 HP), producing 295 Nm of torque transmitted to the rear axle. The energy is stored in a battery with a capacity of 77 kW/h.
