CITYMAX 9 CNG bus has been transferred to Makhachkala for trial operation

The Modern Transport Technologies company has handed over CITYMAX 9 CNG urban low-floor bus for trial operation in Makhachkala. The bus has already arrived in the capital of Dagestan and will soon enter the city streets.

The CITYMAX 9 CNG medium bus is a new production model of the Pavlovo Bus Plant. The passenger capacity of the vehicle is up to 84 people. It has up to 28 seats, which is 25% more than in similar models in the class. It features wide doors and a record low floor area, making it easier for passengers to move around, and boarding and disembarking is faster. The use of composite materials in the body structure reduces its weight and, as a result, fuel consumption.

The bus is equipped with a new Russian YAMZ gas engine running on compressed natural gas (CNG). The air suspension increases comfort, and the function of lowering the floor level at stops simplifies boarding and disembarking passengers, speeds up the route.
