Changan has announced a new model of its Deepal subsidiary brand, S05 compact crossover, which will debut in October 2024, according to the Russian office of the Chinese brand, Changan Motors Rus. It is assumed that the model is considered as one of the novelties for the Russian market.

This is a crossover with a length of 4,620 mm and a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. Capacity of the electric motor in the fully electric version is 238 HP. The battery of 56.12 kW/h provides a range of up to 510 km on the CLTC cycle. The electric motor of the hybrid version works in combination with 1.5-liter 218-HP air breather engine charging the traction battery.

The list of novelty options will presumably include a large central screen, a projection on the windshield and second-level autopilot functions.
