The Russian MB Rus JSC (formerly Mercedes-Benz Rus) has introduced a new brand of cars — Seres. Initially, two hybrid crossovers — M5 and M7 - will go on sale under this brand. The models will be available for purchase in late spring and early summer of 2024.

M5 crossover was introduced in China at the end of 2021. In terms of overall dimensions, the novelty can be compared with Jaguar F-Pace, Audi Q5, Genesis GV70 or Mercedes GLC. The car is a plug-in hybrid. The all-wheel drive model received two electric motors and a gasoline engine, which serves to recharge the traction battery. The total capacity of the novelty is 487 HP. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes Seres M5 4.6 seconds.

M7 crossover is larger, there are three rows of seats in its cabin, and the second-row seats are laid out in almost flat beds. Overall dimensions of a 5-meter car can be compared, for example, with those of Volvo XC90. The crossover is a sequential hybrid with all-wheel drive. The maximum capacity of the model is 439 HP.
