Becema has shipped a batch of BCM-21.5 cement carriers

The Becema Machine-Building Plant has completed the shipment of the next batch of BCM-21.5 tank semi-trailers. The vehicles are designed for bulk transportation of powdery and pulverized materials (cement, mineral powder, etc.), excluding toxic and poisonous materials, with a bulk density of no more than 1.4 g/cm3.

The tank is made of low-alloy steel in the form of a load-bearing container and has two compartments that exclude mixing. The semi-trailer vessel is manufactured in full compliance with the "Regulations of design and safe operation of pressure vessels" as per PB 03-576-03 and technical specifications for the manufacture TU 306-105-067-92.

BCM-21.5 is equipped with an imported three-axis air suspension and has single-tire wheels. BCM-21.5 has a two-wire WABCO braking system equipped with the ТEBS–E + smartboard (2S/2M) system with electronic stability control (ESC) function for difficult road conditions.

To ensure the safety of personnel, the model is equipped with non-slip elements: a pedestrian path along the top of the tank and a ladder in its rear part. The design also provides for the presence of lanterns for lighting the working area, sound and light alarms for filling the tank.
