The Becema machine-building plant produced and shipped a modern BCM-73 crushed stone distributor for one of its customers. This model is a removable equipment that is successfully used for filling roads with inert materials. It is compatible with many front-end loaders and is suitable for operation within the temperature range from 0 °C to + 40 °C.
BCM-73 road widener consists of a 2 m3 hopper with a distribution mechanism in the lower part. Special dampers are provided to regulate the processing width and material consumption.
The 2800 kg unit is equipped with a 15kW diesel engine (2,800 rpm). The side blade has hydraulic control. The width of the conveyor is 530 mm. The maximum width of the material laying is 2,080 mm. In one pass, a neat and geometrically precisely shaped curb is formed without the need for additional control of material distribution. The vehicle stacks the material, evenly distributing it in width, depth and angle of inclination.
The operator's console is equipped with manual hydraulic control. This increases the service life of the equipment and the accuracy of its operation. The operator can adjust the filling height within +/- 300 mm.
