BAW 212 certification resumed in Russia
Certification of BAW 212 SUV has been resumed in the Russian Federation, according to the managing director of BAW Russia, Julian Gavrilov.
According to Mr. Gavrilov, after receiving the Vehicle Type Approval, the brand's cars may appreciate by about 500,000 rubles, since after certification they will be sold at dealerships with a commercial recycling tax. To date, several certificates of conformity have already been received for the model, which are necessary for the subsequent registration of the Vehicle Type Approval.
It is known that the Chinese gasoline version of the SUV is equipped with 2.0-liter 238-HP unit coupled with 8-speed automatic gear box and all-wheel drive.
