AvtoVAZ announces the premiere of the new Niva

AvtoVAZ announced the date of the debut of the new Niva — the next generation of the SUV should be released in 2024.
The number of platforms for cars will be reduced from four to one, there will be 11 body variants instead of 18. Recall that currently the models of the Russian and Romanian brands use four platforms: all Dacia cars are based on the B0 platform, while Lada uses different platforms for Granta and Vesta families, as well as the Niva SUV.

The Japanese Toyota has retained the rights to the names of two well-known models in Russia. Hilux and Sequoia trademarks have been registered in Rospatent.
This means that Toyota retains the rights to use names for cars, parts, components, and various automotive equipment. The validity period of the exclusive rights has been extended until March 2035 and November 2034, respectively.

Rox Motor has announced an expansion of its model range — Lava SUV, which will have its world premiere in 2027, will be a novelty, the brand's press service reports.
Recall that Rox Motor currently produces two models — 01 and Adamas. Production of both models has been set up in Russia at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad in June 2026.
