AvtoVAZ announces price increase for LADA cars
Maxim Sokolov, AvtoVAZ President, reported that from May 1, 2023, prices for Lada cars would increase by 2% on average. At the same time, he assured that the total increase in the cost of the company's products would not exceed the projected inflation rate in Russia in 2023 (according to the Ministry of Economic Development — 5.3%).
It is known that in the first quarter of 2023, AvtoVAZ sales increased by 22% and amounted to 64.2 thousand units. In March, the company sold 90% more cars compared to the similar period of 2022 — 23.3 thousand units.
