Avtolider, the leading transport company, conducted tests of two KAMAZ-54901 latest K5 generation tractor units in real-world working conditions.

As part of the tests that took place during April, KAMAZ-54901 vehicles were subjected to intense operational load. The total mileage of two trucks for the month was almost 40 thousand km. The geography of transportation covered key routes throughout Russia. Tractor units were involved in transportation of combined cargoes and household goods.

KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is equipped with a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 (Euro-5) engine displacement of 13 liters, capacity of 483 HP and a torque of 2,403 Nm. The use of design solutions made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. KAMAZ-54901 tractor unit is equipped with a new low noise and highly efficient 12-speed robotized gear box, which reduced fuel consumption.
